Bonsai Dwarf Jade
Age 5 years. Height 8"-10".
This is one of the easiest bonsai to grow. Small, rounded, fleshy leaves contrast nicely with thick substantial trunks.
Botanical Name: Portulacaria afra
Light: Does well in both high and low light conditions.
Water: Requires thorough watering 1 to 2 times per week. Mist leaves to maintain humidity.
Temperature: Thrives in warm weather, outdoor. Do not allow to freeze.
Hardiness: Very hardy.
Notes:
All plant measurements are approximate. The height is measured from the ground (or bottom of the pot) to the top of the plant.
Unless otherwise noted above, your topiary will arrive in a terra cotta pot -- the top of which is covered with moss. Upgraded pots, such as that displayed in the photo, will be available next season.
